Dizzy Lizzy Delicious has delighted audiences from New York to Jakarta with her stellar skill level and boundless energy both on stage and in the ring. She is best known for her signature hula hoop acts, but Dizzy Lizzy is just as amazing up in the air, bringing flair to the static trapeze, aerial silks and lyra. If that’s not enough for you, this clever young lady also performs classic sideshow pieces including the human blockhead and the glass walk.
Dizzy Lizzy got her circus beginning at the tender age of twelve, as a part of the late Dr Reg Bolton’s Suitcase Circus. Further down the road, she attended the prestigious National Institute of Circus Arts in Melbourne, from which she graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor Degree in Circus Arts.
After relocating to the USA from Perth, Western Australia in July of 2008, Dizzy Lizzy proceeded to burn up the Chicago burlesque and circus scenes in no time flat. She performs as a freelance artist, as well as with various Chicago-based companies including Aloft, the Actors Gymnasium, Vaudezilla, and Girly-Q Productions.
When she is not astounding audiences the world over, Dizzy Lizzy strives to effect social change and create the next generation of performers through the medium of youth circus. She has taught children of all ages and backgrounds to juggle, hang from their knees and approach life as an adventure of possibilities.
